Otovwodo Youths Move to Secure Mowoe Primary School From Vandals
Youth leaders in Otovwodo (Agbassa) community in Agbarha, Delta State, have pledged to protect Mowoe Primary School, Warri, following repeated cases of vandalism targeting the school facilities.
The Youth President of the community, Onoriode Onogun, gave the assurance after leading an inspection of the school and holding a meeting with its management. He said the youth body would no longer allow criminal elements to disrupt academic activities within the community.
Onogun stated that the youths have resolved to take active responsibility for securing the school environment to ensure teachers and pupils can carry out their activities without fear. He warned vandals and other miscreants to stay away from the premises, stressing that anyone caught damaging school property would face severe consequences.
He also called on the Warri South Local Government Council and the Delta State Government to support the school through renovation and improvement of its facilities, while reaffirming the commitment of community youths to maintaining peace and security around the institution.
