Oborevwori Committed to Riverine Development -Delta Govt

The Delta State Government has reaffirmed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s unwavering commitment to the development of riverine communities.

Commissioner for Riverine Infrastructure Development, Chief Ebikeme Clark, made this known during an inspection of ongoing projects in Warri North and Warri South-West local government areas. He stated that the Oborevwori administration remains focused on delivering impactful infrastructure to riverine areas under the MORE Agenda.

Among the projects visited were the 3.1-kilometre road linking Kolokolo and Tisun communities in Warri North LGA and the Oporoza Model Secondary School in Warri South-West LGA.

The commissioner was accompanied by engineers from the directorate, representatives of the construction firm Ocean Explorers Nigeria Limited, and leaders from the benefiting communities.

Speaking during the tour, Clark stressed that despite the difficult creek terrain, Governor Oborevwori is determined to ensure riverine residents enjoy infrastructure of the same quality as those in urban centres.
