Ukodhiko to Empower 100 Youths in Isoko Federal Constituency

Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, the Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has unveiled a five-day empowerment training programme aimed at equipping 100 constituents with practical entrepreneurial skills.

The initiative, announced Tuesday morning via Ukodhiko’s official Facebook page, is being organized in collaboration with the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI). The training will cover six vocational areas: car tracking, web design, photography, tailoring, tiling, and POP (plaster of Paris) installation.

According to Ukodhiko, his main campaign pledge was to introduce empowerment programmes that would make young people self-reliant, a commitment he has consistently pursued since taking office.

The lawmaker revealed that while the majority of participants will be selected through a structured screening process, 14 slots will be filled through a social media application process. Interested constituents are encouraged to submit their name, phone number, account number, ward, and preferred skill in the comment section of the announcement post.

Ukodhiko also clarified that individuals who previously benefited from the March 2025 empowerment programme will not be eligible for this round, in a bid to give new applicants an opportunity.
