Olomu Kingdom Declares Total War on Cultism, Drug Abuse

Olomu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, has intensified its fight against cultism and illicit drug abuse, declaring a total ban on both activities across its communities.

The decision was announced by the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom, His Majesty Eyavwien-Alaka I, after an enlarged meeting with community leaders.

The monarch warned that anyone involved in cult activities or drug abuse must immediately renounce such acts or face sanctions, stressing that the kingdom would no longer tolerate activities that threaten peace and security.

He also urged parents, community leaders, youth groups and security agencies to work together to identify offenders and enforce the ban.

The Ohworode expressed confidence that the renewed campaign would curb crime, improve security and promote sustainable development across the kingdom.
