Delta APC Declares Oborevwori Sole Party Leader

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta Central have announced that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori remains the only recognised leader of the party in the state. The position was taken at a strategic meeting held at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) in Effurun.

Delta Central APC Chairman, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, said the party must operate under one leadership structure to avoid factional clashes ahead of the 2027 general elections. He emphasized that Delta Central is crucial to APC’s success and must maintain unity and discipline.

Stakeholders also renewed their commitment to President Bola Tinubu, with Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, commending the president for progress in security and economic reforms. He also praised the governor for what he called significant infrastructural achievements across the state.

Leaders including Senator Ede Dafinone, Hon. Ejiro Waive, Stella Okotete and local government chairmen pledged to work collectively to deliver strong results for Tinubu, Oborevwori and the APC in the coming elections.
