Teachers Caught Fighting in Delta School

Two teachers at Ibru College in Agbarha-Otor, Delta State, have been filmed engaging in a physical altercation inside the staff room, sparking widespread concern and condemnation.

The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, March 6, 2025, was captured on video and shared widely on social media. The footage, posted by Facebook user Nkeiru Udoh Ogosi, shows the two male teachers fighting while colleagues attempt to intervene. In the video, students and other staff members are seen peeking through windows to watch the scene unfold.

The reason for the altercation remains unclear, but the video has been widely criticized for its portrayal of violence in a school environment. Many social media users have expressed their disappointment, with some questioning the example being set for students.

One post accompanying the video read: “Two teachers fighting in Ibru College Agbara-Otor in Delta State. What a shameful act. I wonder what they are impacting on the children.”

The incident has sparked a public outcry, with many condemning the teachers’ behaviour as inappropriate and damaging to the reputation of the school.

The school’s administration has yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
