Barcelona Clinch 29th La Liga Title After Victory Over Real Madrid

FC Barcelona have officially been crowned champions of the 2025/26 La Liga season after defeating Real Madrid 2-0 on Sunday.

Hansi Flick’s side went into the match holding an 11-point advantage over their fierce rivals and delivered a dominant first-half display at Camp Nou to seal the title in style.

Marcus Rashford opened the scoring with a stunning free-kick before Ferran Torres added the second goal to put the hosts firmly in control before halftime.

Real Madrid pushed for a response after the break but failed to find the net, as Barcelona moved to 91 points — a tally unreachable for Álvaro Arbeloa’s side on 77 points. The triumph marks Barcelona’s 29th league title and a successful defence of their crown.
