Oborevwori expands Ajudua, Angele portfolios after Uduaghan, Trakiriowei resign

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has expanded the portfolios of two commissioners following the resignations of Orode Uduaghan and ThankGod Harry Trakiriowei ahead of the 2027 elections.

In a statement on Friday, the state government said Commissioner for Women Affairs, Community and Social Development, Pat Ajudua, will now oversee the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Services and Girl Child Development, while Commissioner for Housing, Godknows Angele, will supervise the Ministry of Youth Development pending further directives.

The statement, signed by Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Charles Aniagwu, said the resignations were to enable the former commissioners contest seats in the Delta State House of Assembly.
