Oborevwori Reassigns Ministries as Two Commissioners Resign for House of Assembly Race

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved new supervisory arrangements following the resignation of two commissioners from the State Executive Council.

The Commissioner for Women Affairs, Community and Social Development, Princess Pat Ajudua, has been assigned to oversee the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Services and Girl Child Development, following the resignation of Orode Uduaghan, who stepped down to contest a seat in the Delta State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Commissioner for Housing, Godknows Angele, has also been directed to supervise the Ministry of Youth Development, following the resignation of Barr. ThankGod Harry Trakiriowei, who also stepped down to contest a seat in the Delta State House of Assembly in the 2027 elections.

According to a statement by the Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Charles Aniagwu, the governor appreciated the former commissioners for their service to the state and wished them success in their future endeavours.
