Lawuru Purchases House of Reps Form, Vows to Unseat Incumbent
Promise Lawuru, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Delta State, has taken a formal step toward contesting in the 2027 general elections by obtaining his expression of interest and nomination forms for the House of Representatives.
He picked up the forms on Tuesday, signaling his intention to represent the Warri Federal Constituency.
With this move, Lawuru declared his readiness to challenge the incumbent lawmaker, Thomas Ereyitomi, who has held the seat since 2019.
He expressed determination to halt the third-term bid of Ereyitomi.
