Heavy Rain Causes Traffic Gridlock at PTI Junction
A heavy midmorning downpour on Tuesday caused severe traffic congestion at the PTI Junction in Effurun.
Motorists, including trucks, were stranded along the DSC Roundabout to PTI flyover stretch as vehicles moved slowly.
The situation was worsened by ongoing road construction by Julius Berger, which has restricted lanes and slowed traffic.
Authorities have advised commuters to use alternative routes until normal traffic flow resumes.
