Isoko South LG Chairman Delivers Chairs to Enhwe School
Hon. (Comrade) Warri Ovoke, chairman of Isoko South Local Government, handed over 100 chairs on Friday to Enhwe Comprehensive High School in Enwhe. The donation was made by Chief Michael Ogodo, a native of the community, to improve classroom seating for students.
The council chairman asked students to use the chairs responsibly and avoid damaging them. The donation comes after concerns were raised on social media about students sitting on bare floors due to a shortage of furniture.
Chief Ogodo has supported the school over the years by funding teachers in English and mathematics and contributing to other initiatives that help students learn. Warri Ovoke noted that Ogodo’s efforts are making a real difference in the school, even though he is not involved in politics.

The principal, Mr. Ilah Jonathan, thanked the donor for responding to the school’s needs but mentioned ongoing security problems, including theft and vandalism of school property. The handover ceremony included the LG Secretary, Mr. Zino Osuofa, the Vice President-General of the Enhwe Clan Development Association, Prince Isaac Ohoror, and other community leaders.
