2027: Ethiope East Will Vote All APC Candidates at the Polls – Council Chairman Ogedegbe
The Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Augustine Ogedegbe (JP), has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will secure victory across all elective positions in the area during the 2027 general elections.
Ogedegbe made the declaration while receiving members of the Awareness Political Pressure Group, Ovu Political Alliance and Augustine Ogedegbe Political Train during a courtesy visit to his residence in Ovu.
Addressing the groups, the council chairman said the people of Ethiope East were prepared to support all APC candidates, adding that a strong electoral performance would strengthen the local government’s voice within the party and attract more government projects and development.
He acknowledged the country’s current economic and social challenges but argued that the reform agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was aimed at laying the foundation for long-term economic stability and national growth.
“There are challenges, but nothing worthwhile comes easy. The sacrifices being made today are investments in a better and more prosperous Nigeria,” he said.
Ogedegbe urged party members and political support groups to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections, stressing that unity and sustained engagement with voters would be key to the party’s success.
He expressed confidence that Ethiope East would deliver overwhelming support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Senator Ede Dafinone for Delta Central, Rt. Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu for the House of Representatives representing Ethiope Federal Constituency, and Rt. Hon. Olorogun Barr. Arthur Akpowowo for the Delta State House of Assembly, Ethiope East Constituency.
The council chairman reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the APC’s structure in Ethiope East and called on party faithful to remain united and focused on ensuring victory for all the party’s candidates in the 2027 polls.
