Tantita Builds Ultra-Modern Transit House For Soldiers In Effurun Barracks
Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSL), an environmental security firm in the Niger Delta, has taken a major step in supporting Nigerian soldiers by building an ultra-modern Transit Accommodation at Effurun Barracks in Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State.
The newly completed facility was officially commissioned on Tuesday, September 10 by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Jamal Abdussalam.
Tantita, which has been instrumental in ensuring regional security, took on the project to enhance the living conditions of military personnel in the area.
In his address, Major General Abdussalam acknowledged the positive impact the new accommodation will have on soldiers’ well-being.
“The project aligns with the Chief of Army Staff’s vision of transforming the Nigerian Army into a well-trained, equipped, and motivated force capable of carrying out its constitutional responsibilities,” Abdussalam said.
He noted that the collaboration between Tantita and the Nigerian Army reflects a deeper relationship, extending beyond operational needs to improving the welfare of personnel.
Representing Tantita at the event, Executive Director of Operations and Technical Services, Captain Warredi Enisuoh, who stood in for the company’s Managing Director, Engineer Keston Pondi reiterated Tantita’s commitment to supporting the military and hinted at future collaborations.
Warri Sentinel understands that the new accommodation will serve soldiers attached to the 3 Battalion and the surrounding regions, offering modern facilities aimed at boosting comfort and morale.
Captain Enisuoh also lauded the Chief of Army Staff and other security agencies for their coordinated efforts in fighting crude oil theft and ensuring security across the Niger Delta.
Tantita’s role in constructing the transit accommodation is seen as a significant contribution to the ongoing welfare improvements within the Nigerian Army, and Major General Abdussalam encouraged the company to expand such initiatives to other military barracks in the state.
